One of the most amazing and sought-after traits of the F1BB Bernedoodle is its coat for its very low, to nonshedding coats. Bernedoodles can come in a variety of colors, mostly determined by their lineage. Looking at their parents’ coats can be a good indicator of what the pups will have.
Along with focusing on health and temperament, we also strive to produce coats and colors that are hypoallergenic and beautiful for your family.

Types of Colors

BLACK PHANTOM
A Bernedoodle with a solid black background with brown or tan markings. The brown color presents as specific points on the sides of the dog’s muzzle and on his chin, throat, chest, eyebrows, legs, paws and under the tail.
Phantom is fairly common in the breed. It produces the pattern most commonly associated with breeds such as the doberman or rottweiler.

TRI PARTI
A tri-color Bernedoodle is a Bernedoodle with black, rust, and white coloring. Tricolor Bernedoodles may or may not have white on the face.
Tri-color Bernedoodles are one of the most sought-after colors in the Bernedoodle. A perfect Tri-color Bernedoodle is the hardest color to produce.
Our PARTI TRI Bernedoodles are mostly white, with black patches, and rust/brown on their cheeks and eyebrows, and base of tails. You can tell when a puppy is first born if rust will come in with age by looking underneath their tail. If they have rust under their tail, brown will become more prominent with age.

PARTI
A Bernedoodle with a black and white coat that is dominated by white, also called a parti Bernedoodle, typically has black markings on its head, ears, and back. Its chest, chin, neck, parts of its back, and legs are white. However, each dog is unique and the exact pattern of their black and white sections is also unique.
Even among a litter of puppies, the coloring can be different. Our PARTI puppies, have irregular black sections. The black sections tend to appear as patches on a white background.

ABSTRACT
Our ABSTRACT coats have less than 50% white on their black solid colour. This includes white patches on any or all of: feet, chest (tuxedos), chin (milk chin).

SOLID
SOLID Bernedoodles are very rare because genes for multiple color coats are dominant. To have a Bernedoodle with a solid color coat, both parents would have to have the gene for it and it would need to be passed down to their offspring.
Our solid Bernedoodles are all black, with the possibility of white paw pads.
